Death: Jan. 8, 1916

Ben, son of James and Telitha Pierce, was born in Linn Co., MO. During Civil War served Co F 23rd MO Vol Inf. Married Sarah E. Jones 23 July 1863. Ten children born; John, Clarence, Charles, Lillian, Benjamin, Thomas, Everet, Flora, Eva and George. Sarah Pierce died 4 Sept. 1913. Mr. Pierce elected prosecuting attorney of Sullivan Co., moved to Milan, lived there until 1901. Died in Barry Co., MO Burial in family cemetery.
